1. WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED ABOUT ME?
This website does not collect personal information to any registry.
The information in the feedback form on the website is sent via the form on the website to the e-mail address of the University of Turku’s pollen information. The information provided by the user will appear on the submitted form.
This website collects Anonymous data through Google Analytics. Information observed about the use of the service includes usage and browsing information, page(s) between which the user moves, device model, data collection channel (internet browser, mobile browser, application), browser version, IP address, session time and duration, and screen resolution and operating system.
2. FROM WHICH SOURCES DOES MY INFORMATION BE COLLECTED?
Personal data is collected from the user himself excluding anonymous web analytics data.
3. WHAT IS MY INFORMATION USED FOR?
We process the collected data for pre-defined uses:
- Service development
- Customer service
- Detection and prevention of possible abuses.
4. HOW IS MY INFORMATION STORED?
The form data is not stored in separate data warehouses or registers, but is kept in the e-mail boxes of the university employees who received the message.
Data collected through Google Analytics is stored in Google Analytics. Google Analytics data is collected anonymously and is not personally identifiable.
5. HOW LONG IS MY DATA RETAINED?
We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary.
6. WHO PROCESSES MY INFORMATION?
The processing of the data takes place by the employees of the University of Turku, in accordance with the valid Personal Data Act.
Data will not be transferred or disclosed outside the EU or the EEA.
In other respects, the processing of personal data is taken care of as required by law.
7. WILL MY INFORMATION BE DISCLOSED TO THIRD PARTIES?
We do not sell, rent or disclose your personal information to third parties.
However, we may disclose your personal information in accordance with the requirements of applicable law or other requirements.
8. HOW IS MY INFORMATION PROTECTED?
We use the necessary technical and internal security measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, destruction or other unauthorized processing. These means include firewalls, encryption technologies, secure facilities, secure passwords, instruction of personnel involved in the processing of personal information, careful use, and contracts with subcontractors.
The traffic between the norkko.fi server and the user’s browser is also protected by an SSL certificate.
9. DOES THE SITE USE COOKIES?

10. WHAT RIGHTS DO I HAVE?
The user has the right to check the personal data stored about him in accordance with the data protection regulation. The user can verify their personal information by contacting the site administrator.
The user has the opportunity to block the use of cookies by changing the settings of their browser according to the instructions of the browser manufacturer and to clear any cookies from the browser cache. Clearing cookies does not stop possible data collection.
