Alder flowering will continue throughout the country, except in Northern Lapland. Flowering is expected to begin in Northern Lapland in the coming days. Alder pollen may also be transported to Northern Lapland. Hazel flowering is ending.

Alder pollen levels are expected to remain low throughout the country, except in Southern and Central Lapland, Northern Ostrobothnia, and Kainuu, where levels will vary from low to moderate. Birch flowering is expected to begin in southern parts of the country at the end of April.
