Alder blooms in the western and southern parts of Finland and in the warmest places in the central parts of the country. During the weekend pollen may be transported all the way to southern Lapland.

The flowering of the hazel bush continues to weaken in southwestern and southern Finland.

The flowering of birch will begin in Central Europe in the next few days. After flowering has started, Finland may receive long-range transported birch pollen during the southern air currents.
